Collection management:

• We are equipped to oversee collections of all kinds, and can assist with insurance, transportation, and maintenance schedules. We oversee every aspect of a collection so clients can enjoy ownership without the administrative burden.

Restoration Supervision:

• Having traveled the globe attending the largest concours, racing and driving events, and visiting as many reference-grade automobile museums as we can find, we are in a unique position to select the appropriate specialists, monitor progress, maintain originality, and ensure every decision supports the goals of the vehicle’s owner and preserves its long-term value.

• We charge 10% on the amount of each restoration invoice.

Appraisals and future proofing:

• Independent market valuations informed by current transactions, historical significance, provenance, and long-term collector trends for insurance, estate planning, and strategic decision-making.

• Collections can and should evolve with the market, not chase it. We provide ongoing strategic guidance to preserve relevance, enhance quality, and position collections for the long-term.

Sourcing and acquisition:

• On sales and acquisitions up to $2,500,000 we charge a 10% commission, with a minimum fee of $20,000 per car.

• On sales and acquisitions above $2,500,000 we charge a 5% commission.

• We can also work on a net return-to-seller basis. In this structure, the seller is guaranteed a certain price, and the excess is retained by James Chase. We are amenable and happy to work on a case-by-case basis.
